The Cove Condo Association

When is the HOA going to be formed? There are numerous issues that I believe will be addressed due to the diverse families we have...e.g. retirees, families with kids, ect. Everyone wants something different. I for example believe that Clotheslines in sideyards, trailers in the street, toys in the front yards, and beach chairs on front porches are all eyesores. There are unkept yards and many unkept houses in the ''Hill'' right now and Lacrosse is only interested in selling new homes, not maintaining the development. Therefore I think it should be formed promptly. Plus the less power Lacrosse Homes has the better. They are a third party only after self interests.

HOA

I also believe a HOA is needed but people do live. Orchard hill is not a retirement community it's a family development. I don't want to leave in a communist neighbor that judges everything and everybody. Rules are set to be a face not a lifestly. A beach chair (we leave near the beach)and some toys in the front yards are ok (peple have kids). Like I said this isn't a retirement community and if thats what alot of people want they should have moved in one. Also some people believe in protecting the evironment and not waisting water to have a perfect lawn and using all the fertilizer. As much water people use to water the grass you could feed a starving family. Some people only want to follow the rules when it's ok for them. We must be sure when making rules to not be over judgemental.A PERFECT neighbor isn't a happy neighborhood. Some people need to find other hobbies then to look for things because they are bored. I believe our community is wonderful and being to picky about little things is living in a ruled (jailed community) EVERYONE JUST LIVE AND ENJOY LIFE

HOA

This is a good discussion. The HOA is only after the money as Orchard Hill is to selling homes. Selling homes are hard now. They don't live in the neighborhood so what do they care. Also a HOA what would they care but the money they will be taking out of your pocket. Everyone needs to use common since and respect each others property and lifestlye. The way one lives is not the way someone else should live or be told to live.

HOA

There are a set of rules our neighborhood does have. There are association rules that were implemented to help keep our neighborhood attractive and respectful to our neighbors. It seems that not everyone has these rules in hand.

There is nothing about toys in the yard or beach chairs on the front porch.

However there are rules about storing garbage cans, grills, clothelines etc.

For those who do not have a cope of the association rules, you should stop by the model and pick up a copy. Just because you have lived here before the rules does not mean you are exempt from them. You are just grandfathered in to things you might have done that are not permitted in the rules. For example a clothesline that might have been installed
