We have Brinks and have been very pleased. It's $25.99/month and I am sure they run installation specials.

On another note, our alarm was accidently set off by pushing our panic-fire button. The fire department was at the house in less than five minutes. If we ever have a life or death emergency, I'm going for the fire department because I know they will be there right away.

I have read of break-ins and heard of a few more in the area that never made a posting here. I am tired of it !!
Get contact numbers of your neighbors and dont be shy to call them OR the police if you see something that does not look right.

I switched from ADT to APX Alarm - so far, I've had no complaints. The alarm has sounded a handful of times due to user error (11 year old son) and they were very quick to respond. The alram, one barking dog and great neighbors - I feel safe. However, I always keep my doors locked! I moved from midtown to Colonial Acres after a break-in several years ago and certainly do not want to go through that again!
