Dear Suzie and friends,

Was not the Jenks skate board park originally part of a federal block grant?  The construction of the new playground, as far as one knows, was not paid for by local funding.

Ludlow - 100% correct. As for its necessity, the existing courts on the site are in deplorable condition. I doubt adding a skate park was significantly more money than it would be to replicate the existing facilities as they are now.
