Easter Seals Child Development Center Update
Bill Kennedy and Juanita Love of the Easter Seals School on Melrose Drive gave an update on renovations to the school and asked for SHNA approval in seeking a variance to reduce the number of required parking spaces. They will renovate the building in three phases:

Phase I: Completed. Mobile classrooms are in place and part of building has been renovated.
Phase II: Renovate oldest building
Phase III: Renovate auditorium

They asked for the variance because the city building permit requires they have 60 parking spaces before they can begin work on Phase II. However, there is no need for 60 spaces until the auditorium is renovated in Phase III. The SHNA approved their request for a special exception in the number of required parking spaces. They will go before the NPU-X and then before the city building permits office.
