Superstition Foothills Community

State of SFCOA

By Jeff Downing- Vice President
The Superstition Foothills Community Owners Association Board along with Kinney Management went on a Tour on January 15, 2008, to assess the condition of our community. During this tour we identified specific areas where we were not satisfied with the condition of the existing landscape and maintenance. Some areas have weeds, grasses, and dead plantings that need attention. Other areas have trees that need pruning and plantings too close to block walls or view fences. Our landscapers are also busy cleaning some of these areas to prepare for view fence painting. Please understand that we will prioritize these areas with Valley Crest and work with them to improve the current conditions.

In addition, as some of the areas in our community are approaching ten years of age. The desert sun has been at work and many of the older homes are in need of painting. This year we will be identifying and notifying homeowners of this situation. The Board will also be working on a paint palette that will address all areas of the community. Before you paint your home a different color, you must have the approval of the Design Review Committee. Contact Kinney Mgmt. to obtain a submittal form.
