Sunset Mesa Neighborhood Association

What can we do to get people to be more responsible about picking up their dog's messes?? It is not fair or considerate for others to have to step over the droppings or for a neighbor to have to pick it up. There are now many gadgets and supplies on the market to make this an easy task. Please, Please!

Pet Mess

I agree there is a problem with our neighbors (from both within and outside of Sunset Mesa) failing to clean up after their pets while walking them. One thing not mentioned thusfar is that there are frequently loose animals in the neighborhood, resulting in a at least the same amount of problems. I think it is part of our responsibility as good neighbors to attempt to locate the owner of a loose dog, prior to getting the (overworked) Humane Society involved.
