-Hello neighbors, my name is John McShane and I live with my family on Corewood lane. My wife (Samantha and our 2 kids Jack and Gracen), have been assigned to 300 homes this year for the annual local food drive. It is a lot of work but a great cause and a great lesson for our children to learn how to give back to the community and others that may be experiencing unfortunate times in their lives.
As neighbors I ask for your support of this cause as well as making the collection a little more efficient for my family and I.
#1 Could you please participate with any non-perishable item(s) by putting them in the bag we dropped off at your house this past week with a yellow letter attached to it (if you mistakenly threw it away any grocery style bag paper or plastic will work). The more bags the better (clean out those pantrys and start the new year with clutter free cabinets PLEASE).
#2 If you could please put your bag(s) at the bottom of your walkway by 9am this Saturday December 2nd (twm), that would be a huge help. My 6 year old daughter already fell down stairs delivering the bags and I hope to not repeat that.
