Apparently the City of Columbus is not enforcing their "ALL TRASH CONTAINERS SHOULD BE STORED OUT OF SIGHT EXCEPT ON TRASH PICK UP DAY" code. 

90 Gallon container at garage door in driveway is in plain sight, yet the response is "no cause for action".

I guess me and the rest of the neighbors get to continue looking at their trash cans!

Let me ask a question then.....  Are the residents supposed to store their trash cans inside of their garage?

If so then why have an outdor 90 gal trash can.?? 

Has anyone driven through the city of Cols. streets in other communities to see how they do it..?  There are some that have them behind their houses in alleys.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm tired to coming onto Boulder Dam from Broadview and the first thing I see is TRASH.  Are people so lazy that they can't just pick up their trash or perhaps they are blinded to the fact that the trash is even there.

Some of us who live in smaller homes have no place to put these black garbage monsters other than outside our garages!  Before we had these things, I kept mine in my 1-car garage.  The 90-gallon size prohibits me from doing this, and I have no other place to put it, save the backyard (which would still allow it to be visible).  Even so, I am physically unable to tow the monster back and forth from front to back, through the gate every week, so I really have no other choice.  Perhaps you would like to come and do it for me every week????
