Stuart Street Block Association

SSBA GOES DIGITAL

Mar 18, 2001

Stuart Street has been invited to participate in a national pilot program to link neighborhoods together through the Internet!! There is no cost to the individual block association; the City of Berkeley and a non-profit national community organization are covering the bill.

There are many things the City already provides online, and we can include those on our website -- like Information about and links to street sweeping and other services.

Also, if you want to pick up some new skills, you can be a ?“webmaster in training?”!!

In order to participate, we need your help in deciding what the Stuart Street Block Association web site will contain and communicate.

We would love to hear from you at our neighborhood meeting on Wednesday March 7th. The work session we have scheduled with the city and its non-profit partner to design the site and set it up is the following Wednesday, March 14th, 6:30 pm at City Hall.

Come to our regular SSBA meeting on March 7th to give feedback and get more details, or to sign up to be a webmaster in training. You can also speak to Willa who is heading up the project.
