The Stock Island Business & Home Owners Association's mission is to improve the quality of life for all residents of Stock Island. To improve the roads, sewer, recreational facilities, police and fire service so that all residents can achieve the highest quality of life available to all residents so that they may reach their full potential as citizens and residents of the United States.

If you continue to think that someone else is going to do your work for you, you are sadly mistaken. The time has come to lend your support to SIBHA. You have nothing to loose, & everything to gain.It won't cost you a nickel. One hour a month for our monthly meeting which will keep you informed of our progress. We usually meet the third Thursday of every month at the Key West BaptistTemple on 2nd Ave. near the Tom Thumb on McDonald/MaloneyAve. Our next meeting will be February 21, 2002 Thursday at 7:00 P.M. Earth Day Clean Up 2001

The Earth Day Clean Up of Stock Island which took place on April 21, 2001 took out of Stock Island just under 100,000 lbs. of trash, according to Mr. Greg Sullivan the manager of Waste Management. That comes out to about 16 truck loads of trash.
The next clean up of Stock Island will be on April 20, 2002 from 8:00 a.m to 12 noon.
