It was sold to a dummy corporation called PFA, controlled by the mayor, vice mayor, city manager, parks director, controller and city attorney, who agreed to buy it back over 21 years for $12,230,000.00! Enough to build two police or fire stations and have millions left over. In addition, ask City Council what happened to the overpass at Woodmen and Academy, the truth will amaze you. Did you know that City Council recently sold the Penrose Center for $1.00. It was assessed at $4, 426,711.00. Now they want to cover up these blunders by increasing our taxes!
