Prayers for Scandinavian Churches

All League members are asked to pray daily for the churches in Scandinavia a minimum of one Hail Mary. There are six Masses celebrated by the League's chaplain in St. Patrick's Cathedral-the feasts of:

1. The Feast of St. Ansgar-February 3
2. The Feast of St. Erik of Sweden-May 18
3. The Feast of St. Olaf of Norway-July 29
4. The Feast of St. Henry of Finland-June 18
5. The Feast of St. of Iceland
6. The Feast of St. Knod of Denmark-January 19

Prayer for Scandinavia

O Jesus, our God and Savior / by the merits of Your Most Precious Blood. Shed for all men / we ask You to look with special love upon the peoples of Scandinavia / Great peace and holiness to Your Church in these countries / instill goal. Courage and confidence / in the hearts of their bishops, priests, religious and faithful.
Promote the work of Unity among all Christian peoples / giving them courage and humanity / to seek the means of advancing this Cause / for which You prayed and gave Your life / Grant to all who profess belief in You, harmony and love / as well as the grace to grown in xxxxxx / and to attain eternal salvation.
We ask these blessings through Your Virgin Mother, St. Ansgar and all the xxxx of these lands / for the honor and glory of Your Holy Name / and for the welfare of Your Church. Amen.
