Financial support for Scandinavian bishops

Mass Stipend Program

St. Ansgar's provides its members and others interested with attractive Mass card kits that include a card and envelope for mailing to the party related to the person mentioned in the Mass to be offered, as well as a card and envelope addressed to St. Ansgar's to be filled in identifying the party for whom the Mass is to be offered and containing the offering.

The proceeds are sent to the bishops in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Iceland for distribution to priests in parishes in need, for the saying of the Masses as per the request of the donors.

This effort provides financial support to the Scandinavian church.

In addition, members are invited to remember St. Ansgar's in their Wills and these funds from time to time provide substantial support for the Scandinavian bishops. They can be designated to a specific county if the donor wishes.

All donations to St. Ansgar's can be taken as charitable deductions as the Leagues in recognized for this purpose by the IRS.
