St. Ansgar's Social Program

St. Ansgar's gathers at least two times a year for social events.

At Christmas for the St. Lucy Mass and party, presently held at St. Thomas More Church on 89th Street in Manhattan on the Saturday nearest December 13th, the Feast of St. Lucy.

In the early summer on the Saturday near the Feast of Saint John the Baptist (Santa Hans) at the Convent of Saint Brigita in Durian, Connecticut.

The officers meet occasionally during the year from October to May.

If a Scandinavian bishop visits New York, usually St. Ansgar's arranges a reception.

The League's members usually meet at the time of the mailing of the bulleting for a work session-i.e. , collating.

The League's members usually meet for lunch after the celebration of the Mass to St. Ansgar's, presently at St. Patrick's Cathedral.

All are welcome for all of the above events.
