Picture

Welcom All.

We would like to thank all those who have endeavored and/or contributed to keep the memory and spirit of historic "Little Mexico", in Dallas, alive.

It is through these contributions that we hope to share the History of the Little Mexico area, of Dallas, and the Hispanic Community that lived and grew up there. In passing it on we not only provide a mere history of this area but the pride, trials and tributes of the individuals and their struggles.

Information, Information, Information

Many of you whom grew up in this area will undoubtedly have much to add, cherish and even correct us on; reguarding certain names events or times and dates. We wish to let you know that we will do our best to add and/or correct this information as soon as possible.

We are 100% volunteer at this time and so from our perspective we ask that you please be patient in these changes.

St. Ann's Alumni

The St. Ann's Alumni have been a major supporter and creator of this endeavor. Through their own pockets and fundraisers these individuals have been able to mount a memorium of the "Little Mexico" area. For the past 5 years they have made sure to have incorporate some form of display at the Texas State Fair.

These last few years they have had a display area at the "Mundo Latino" area, located in the Womens Museum.
