JC Road Dept. announces road closure in Fountainebleau
The Jackson County Road Department will close the east end of Fountainebleau Road starting on Tuesday, August 4 for a drainage improvement project.
Fountainebleau Rd. will be under construction near the intersection of Belle Fontaine Road from 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Monday through Thursday for three weeks. Drivers will be able to detour through Oakleigh Circle during construction hours. Only emergency traffic will be allowed to access the road during construction times.
All drivers are asked to use caution around this construction site, especially during the morning and afternoon commutes. Pay special attention to traffic signs, road workers, uneven pavement, and heavy equipment near the side of the road. This is the sixth roadway drainage project the County has undertaken in 2009.
