After living here for almost 3 years, I just noticed the speed limit on Welty is 30mph. (sign posted on Welty just north of State.  Well, that explains, why at times, I hear cars that sound like they are travelling fast down and down the street. Welty is not as wide as Calvin Park yet has the same speed limit. In the last two days, as I was getting out my car, I have two cars honk at me as if to say--get out of my way!  I would hope our Alderman might take a look at the speed limit. It should be the same as the other residential streets..25mph.
