Greenwood Village has challenged whether or not it is constitutional to allow incorporations of over 75,000 people to have priority over annexations of the same area. The Colorado Supreme Court will decide the case. It will not be expedited. Written briefs from both sides will be submitted prior to any oral arguments being presented. The entire process could take nine months.
