Hello and Welcome to the Southern Wayne Neighborhood Organization (SWNO) Web Site.

Caution: must wear hard hat and dust mask to enter. Please excuse our mess, we are under construction.

SWNO come into existence in May of 2001 taking over the old Mars Hill Organization. This organization now encompasses four neighborhoods that is made up of approximately 1800 homes. The areas include; Lafayette Heights, Oak Park, Mars Hill, and Maywood.

SWNO has two areas of concern. The primary area runs just North of Morris Street, East to Warman Ave, South to Kentucky Ave. (67), West to Lynhurst Drive.

The secondary boundaries is much bigger in size. The line runs just North of Morris Street, East to Warman Ave. south to Interstate 465 back to Interstate 70. This area is of concern but not to the extent that the primary area is.
