Hello,

Anyone else beside the three people on Mira Vista Ct have crazy water pressure resulting in damage to their water heater?

I talked to the Chief of Operations  (Mark Baker) and he told me that there is a malfunctioning pressure valve somewhere in the Southern Hills area. This resulted in large pressure spikes. 

I am pretty sure that these pressure spikes resulted in my water heater damage. It seems strange that three houses on the same block would all have water heater damage on the same day. 

Now I am responsible for putting a new one in, but should I pay for it?  Should the city install a pressure regulator in my house? 

Please let me know how many other people in the Southern Hills are having this same problem. The more of us there are the better our chances the city will do something for us.

Hi.  I'm responding two years later.  I live in the Southern Hills at the Village in the Park complex.  Yesterday (5-26-10) we had sprinkler alarms sounding all day long because of water pressure problems.  We've had some problems previously with sewage backup after water pressure drops. I'm wondering if you're still having problems too? I'm wondering if you're still having problems too?
