Southeast Neighbors

On Saturday, May 5, 2007 there was a shooting at 4206 Dakota Ave. The heavily medicated man shot at his son 2 feet away from him, while his nine month pregnant wife was standing right next to him pregnant with the suspects granddaughter. Thankfully the shot missed but could have ended a lot worse. Just because the suspect had a gun permit and owned alot of property on Dakota Ave he got out of it with a slap on the wrist. This is not the first time he has raised his pistol and pointed at someone. Unless something is done someone can really get hurt or even killed next time the suspect thinks he can pull his gun out and point it at somebody. A gun permit allows you to carry a gun but not to point it at everybody in the neighborhood. The house was full of weapons but still never got arrested. The detectives are looking into this and hoping to at least get this man;s handling permit taken away from him. So everyone just be cautious around this location until this man can be removed from the streets of our neighborhood.
