A neighbor and I are trying to start a commumity running group in the Manor Park Neigborhood. It will be create to meet people in the neighborhood, burn some calories, and have a regular presence in the community. Bad guys hate having people watch them.
We plan to meet at Fort Slocum. Anyone interested? |

I've received 2 interested parties...!!! Howerver, we will change the activity slightly. Instead of a running group, we are going to create a multi-activity group which will encompass walking, jogging, and cycling. Hey..we may even start swimming at Takoma Recreation...we shall see.
So, the first Open House walk looks like it may be Thursday, June 3rd...sometime in the evening..after 6:46pm. |
