Park plans

Posted in: Brunswick Place
What are the plans for the park and the ravine beside it? It looks like it was never fully finished, especially by the two lamp posts in the middle. Personally, I think the ravine could be set up nice. On the side closest to the park there is a path that goes down into it and beside it is what looks like a fallen tree branch that would be perfect to put a bench under (it looks more like vines than a fallen tree branch--youd'd have to see it). It has trash all in it, and I think that it should be cleaned out. When cleaned out, it flows freely and makes a calming, halcyon sound. I've seen it before the ravine was destroyed with weeds and trash and it was a rather beautiful sight to see. So, what are the plans for the park and ravine? Thank you.

Park Plans

In our February board meeting we discussed getting some park benches. We are gathering estimates to purchase concrete tables and benches also to allow us to picnic in the park. Hopefully you will see these soon! The ravine ''ditch'' has also been looked at for clean-up and repairs. This is the reason for the special assesment of 400.00 that will be collected later this year, if the litigation with the developer cannot be resolved. I like yourself think that this can become a relaxing place in the future and look forward to it!

Enhancement Survey

In my response to the Enhancement Survey I attached a full page of notes, one of which suggested a large covered PAVILION in the park - less expensive than a clubhouse and more useful than a gazebo - which can be as basic or elaborate as we choose. It can be a serving station for annual neighborhood picnics (catered or covered dish), a place for children's art & craft classes, a stopover for runners, bikers, walkers, etc. Is this something to think about? Anybody care to respond?
