Does anyone know if we are allowed to build small guest homes or know of anyone who can turn garages into extra living spaces with running water and sewage hookups for bathroom. We are built on a slab and would need someone who could be trusted to give an idea of the cost, if the guest house is not allowed in our community. Thanks.

There are several in the neighborhood. The city of Bartlett could tell you what the restrictions are but in general it just has to be x feet from the property line and away from any easements. The most popular here are in the area of a pool house or second garage with living space on top of either.
