Ms. Scotton / Ms. Carter:

Our understanding is that your Civic Club is to meet in the (very) near future.  If this understanding is correct, I wanted to again touch base to see if an agenda item can be carved for presentation of the proposed pipeline (pursuant to both the Houston Park Department requirements and the explicit request of Council Member Wanda Adams).

Anything you can do to help expedite this request will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Respectfully,

David E. Skelton

Ms. Scotton / Ms. Carter:

In conjunction with the message from Ms. Beaty herein, I would like to both introduce myself and request scheduling within the appropriate forum by which Fairway Energy Partner LLC can submit to the community our proposed pipeline easement across Blackhawk Park.

For your ease and convenience, I have attached two (2) aerial depictions of the proposed easement -- shown in red -- across the subject property.  Undoubtedly you will recognize that the alternate routes are either fully or partially contained within the existing Buckeye Pipeline right-of-way.

Thank you in advance for your consideration to this matter.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Respectfully,

David E. Skelton

  Good Afternoon Fred,

Gullett and Associates, Inc. and Fairway Energy Partners LLC visited our office regarding a pipeline that they want to run through Blackhawk Park.  There is an existing pipeline, but they would like to run their pipeline next to it.  Parks & Recreation requires for the companies to receive community support so that they can survey the area.  We suggested that they speak with Gulf Meadows, along with other civic clubs that would be affected, so that the residents can ask questions and grant their support or not.  The Council Member will go with the voice of the residents.  Would it be possible for these organizations to attend the next civic club meeting to share their information? I have copied Mr. David Skelton on this email.

   Have a great evening!

Regards,

Reisha L. Beaty, MPA
