Scenic Brook Neighborhood Association

We all know that Scenic BrookDr is now more than ever used as a shortcut to 71 and 290. Traffic is constant and speeding. I called 311 and reported this and hope everyone will do the same. The 311 operator will connect you to thru to the appropiate department. I reported constant speeding traffic despite the speed bumps and speed limit on our street. Im hoping the more complaints they recieve will get something done about this. I would not mind if our street got the reputation of a "speed trap". Maybe a few speeding tickets could facilitate this.

When milburn started windmill run Scenic Brook neighbors stood up against the development cause cause of excess traffic.  Milburn promised a 4 lane intersection at hwy290.  NEVER HAPPENED.  took what? 10 yrs before a traffic light was installed. I seen the print of his proposed 'Main entrance" to windmill run;   which was paid off NOT to build by milburn to then city officials.  now we have speeders who have killed 5 cats 6 squirrels one coyote and two dogs that I know of in last 12 yrs.  NO kids YET but had my weed eater hit while trimming along curb by one of these a...w.... speeders who cut to curb trying to miss speed humps so they can speed home 1.5 minutes faster. the road from Target @south-park to S 1st. has walls on both sides w/apartments on both side w/divided island center speed limit sign of 25  Whats wrong with that picture?   according to our ELECTED city council  no 3way stop sign or reduced speed signs cause NO one has been KILLED yet.  we have lost three at S.B and hwy 71 and still NO traffic light.  hell we can't even get a white line stating  DO NOT BLOCK INTERSECTION   seems time for new city council.
