Santa Monica Canyon Civic Association

I live on Entrada Drive near San Lorenzo.  On Tuesday 7/14/09 I was startled at approximately 11:00pm by a large group of very loud bike riders going very fast down Entrada.  The riders, with very little regard for the hour were shouting at the top of their lungs and generally carrying on for long enough to wake up most of my family.  After some research I believe that I have identified the group that is creating this ruckus.  Here is the website of the group I suspect.

This group has no central authority or leadership to contact in order to file a complaint.

Let’s get together as a community and try to stop this group from going down Entrada Drive for their safety and our peace of mind.  Anyone have any ideas?

I apologize for the delay in reaponding.  Now that the website has been redesigned I should get these postings with less delay-- my bad.

I believe I have tracked down a representative and I am sending your entire message plus my extensive bona fides with the bicycle community.  I live within one block of you and adjacent to Entrada and hear people talking, boom boxes in commuting vehicles inching down the road in the afternoons and the occasional transient having a loud conversation with himself at 6:00 AM on a Sunday morning.

I will be sending a strong note.
