Sladeco Zoning On Development Commission February 13th Agenda

The Development Commission of the City of Columbus sent notices to several neighbors today notifying them of a Development Department hearing on the Sladeco Property. The hearing is scheduled for February 13th, 2003 at the City of Columbus I-71 North Complex, Lower Level Public Hearing Room, 757 Carolyn Ave. The Sladeco Property agenda will be heard on the 7:00 PM agenda.

As of today the Developer has refused to schedule a meeting with neighbors. The last scheduled meeting was cancelled at the developers request. The developer has not talked to anyone in the area concerning plans for the Sladeco Property. It is unknown what is planned for the Sladeco Property. It is unknown when development will start and how many homes or what type of homes will be built. It is very important that everyone in our area attend the hearing. There is only one more step in the zoning process after the Development Commission Hearing, that will be before Columbus City Council.
