Beautiful Large Medicinal Aloe Vera (Barbadensis) Plants- $2

Posted in: Westown Watch

Perennial Aloe can take full sun but prospers in gentle light and part afternoon shade, waiting patiently for someone to need the cooling gel which may be squeezed from the leaf. The more you water your Aloe the plumper its leaves will become, but it is drought tolerant and will simply produce slimmer leafed rosettes.

This is used for cooling burns, treating sunburn and chapped skin, soothing skin irritation and may be taken internally where its mucilage soothes the digestive tract, reduces pain of ulcer, and speeds healing. The blooms of this variety are coral toned.

Sold bare root- which doesn't hurt the plant but resets its growth pattern once established in a pot or in ground.
We are selling Medium to Large specimens for $2 a piece- Much larger plants for $3-$5. These plants are attractive and nicely shaped.

TIPS- If cutting leaves for medicinal use, use the largest (bottom) leaves and preserve the integrity of the newly emerging rosette. Propagation by repotting of the offshoots (pups).
