DIMOND, CLIFTON, 95, of Pelham, AL went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 3, 2010, He was a wonderful, gentle, Christian husband, father, and friend of many. He never knew a stranger and was the neighborhood Mr. Fix-It. He lived most of his life in Kansas where he was a grocery store owner and insurance salesman, moving to Alabama in 1996. He was preceded in death by father Charles Dimond, mother Minnie Dimond, step-mother Ena Dimond, sisters infant Dorothy Agnus, Althea Koch, and Irene French, brothers Warren Dimond and Cecil Dimond. He is survived by his wife of 73 years Thelma Dimond of Pelham, Al, son Carl Dimond of Bartlesville, OK, daughters Sheryl Colle of Helena, Al and Colleen Davis of Pelham, Al, sisters Ortha Courter of AZ, Minnie Ulrich of WA, Myrna Favinger of CO, Lois Noffsinger of KS, brother Marvin Dimond of CO, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a whole host of friends. Visitation will be on Friday, May 7, 2010 from 2:30 PM until 4:00 PM with the Celebration of Life at 4:00 PM all taking place in the Chapel of Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Rd., Pelham, AL.
