The Sacramento ENRICHES Neighbors
Helping Neighbors mini-grant program
offers residents of Sacramento County
funding up to $500 to improve conditions
for children youth, and families in their own
neighborhood.
Neighbors Helping Neighbors is an
opportunity for you to make a difference in
your community.

What are we looking to fund?
?· Grassroots, neighborhood projects;
?· Projects where neighborhood
residents are doing most, if not all, of
the work;
?· Youth projects in which youth are
decision-makers and doing the work;
?· Neighborhood association projects.
Project Examples:
?· Festival, cultural celebration, or
neighborhood block party;
?· Beautification: community clean-up
or painting day;
?· Materials for a community garden;
?· Equipment that contributes to the
safety of children, youth, and
families;
?· Materials for a neighborhood quilt;
?· Toy lending library;
?· Starting a youth soccer program; and
?· Your Own Idea!
We'll give you up
to $500 to help
you with your
project!!!
Applications Due by
February 15th, 2002!
