Scientifically Based Teaching? What does it Mean?

The ?“Leave No Child Behind?” law that reauthorized the Elementary and
Secondary Education Act attached federal funding to
scientifically-based
teaching methods. At a recent U.S. Dept. of Education symposium, a
reading
specialist spelled out what ?“scientifically-based?” methods mean when it
comes to reading.
