State and Local Governments to Lose Funding for Many Programs

The administration?’s FY 2003 budget would cause state and local
governments to lose funding for many federal formula grant programs at
a
time when fiscal crises are already forcing states to do more with
fewer
resources, argues the National Priorities Project. Their report
provides
state-by-state tables documenting the impact of proposed cuts on
different
programs.
