Tax Breaks for Working Families

While it is true that the more affluent you are, the bigger your tax
breaks are likely to be, there are four federal tax breaks for working
families that can stabilize the household budget significantly: the
Dependent Care Tax Credit, the Child Tax Credit, the Earned Income Tax
Credit and the Dependent Care Assistance Program. This booklet for
advocates and parents from the National Women?’s Law Center offers basic
information on eligibility and how to file.
