High Schools Where Everyone Knows Your Name

Some promising efforts to improve learning during the high school years have relied on the simple notion that students will thrive in small schools, with teachers that value individual learning styles. Two such schools -- the "Met" in Providence, RI, and Best Practice High School in Chicago, IL, are profiled in this story adapted from What Kids Can Do.
