This Forum for Youth Investment report takes an in-depth look at the common challenges cities face as they increase the quality, quantity and continuity of supports for young people, as demonstrated in four cities: Kansas City, Little Rock, Chicago and Sacramento County. Beyond the perennial concerns about ?“funding streams that dry up and staff who do not stick around,?” communities trying to expand youth opportunities struggle to identify standards, to address the difficulties of expensive and inaccessible public transportation, and to administer cost-sharing around the use of public facilities.
