November is National Adoption Awareness Month. Please come help us celebrate such an extraordinary event! Enjoy a memorable evening with others who share your passion in making differences in others lives.

Chicks in Crisis, Inc. and Ms. Inez Whitlow, Event Chair, are pleased to announce that November 9, 2002 is the date for our 3rd Annual Winter Ball ?– ?“Angels Among Us?” dinner, fundraiser, and silent auction. This signature event will be held at the Yamshon Alumni Center located on the campus of the California State University, Sacramento in the Capital Room, located at 6000 J Street, in Sacramento. Please save the date now so you can attend this lovely evening along with other caring community supporters.

This year, we will be honoring ?“boomer and The Dave?” from KWOD 106.5 for Mt. The Dave and Alan DuClos of the Rotary Club of Midtown Sacramento for their significant contributions to various cultural, educational, charitable and philanthropic support to our organization.

In addition to honoring these unique individuals, Chicks in Crisis, Inc., will be raising money to fund programs that support the House of Hope. Money raised last year helped homeless teens/women with children who needed shelter, food, clothing, and/or medical attention. Simply put, our programs meet fundamental needs for daily living in our community.

We would like to encourage you to participate in this important event. Underwriting, donor support or attending our event are key to maintaining these programs as a viable resource for our city. You will receive appropriate recognition in the event program along with a tax deduction for your gift.

We are counting on you to help lighten the burden of the many suffering women, children, and families in our programs, by sharing a portion of your financial blessing or items for our auction. Please act now or before October 20, 2002.
