Schools that Control their Budgets Have Better Academic Outcomes

It may come as a surprise that most individual schools have little control over how their funds are allocated. This budget initiative study by the New York University Institute for Education and Social Policy finds that giving schools more control over their own budgets has a direct and positive impact on student performance.
