About the Sacramento Professional Network
Our Mission is
To provide a supportive environment that allows our members to build an effective tool kit of job search skills so they can become career self-reliant, and to provide a forum for networking to enhance career opportunities.
There is no monetary charge at any time for using SPN's equipment and facilities -- enjoy free and unlimited job-related access to local and long-distance telephone service; fax your resume at no charge; save money by using SPN's newspapers and job search related magazines; access to computers, the Internet and much more.
After the first week, each member devotes a minimum of four hours per week to a committee that keeps SPN self-reliant and resourceful to its members. Also, attendance of the weekly Monday general meeting is manadatory. These are the only two absolute requirements for continued active membership at SPN.
Greetings from The President of SPN
SPN is a centralized job search location that can assist unemployed and underemployed professionals who are actively seeking new employment opportunities by providing: training materials and specific classes for skills enhancements and job search success; to encourage continuance, pride and positive attitudes in professional setting; and offering support to maintain the SPN philosophy "the bottom line is getting a job." A part of our success is being a no-fee agency that helps members and employers come together for their mutual benefit.
Encouragement from The Chapter Liaison
We at EDD are proud to support SPN; its members have consistently proven their resolve and strength while searching for employment and that next step or two up the success ladder. This club truly is a membership of professionals with diverse experience, talents and training who have come together for personal employment possibilities and for networking and support during the job search process.
