February 15- Health Care for All has made available "Addressing Oral Health Needs: A How To Guide."
This guide addresses oral health care problems and solutions on a community level.
By highlighting and profiling oral health programs across the country, Health Care for All intends to give
other organizations ideas for starting, extending and improving oral health programs. "The Guide"
summarizes successes and challenges and offers new solutions to oral health needs of children,
such as school based health services and clinics in hospitals. School based health services are one
of the effective ways to reach children with oral health needs. "The Guide" also looks at dental clinics
as a way to deliver dental care. These clinics are able to provide services for a variety of people with
dental needs. Coalitions, universities and college programs and other projects are summarized in the guide.
