SOMB Awarded United Way Grant 2006

United Way Grant

SOMB was awarded $6000 from the United Way to complete two projects. The first is our "Art in the Park' in which we'll have a piece of sculpture erected in the Linwood Pocket Park. An artist was selected several years ago through a design competition sponsored by Scots and the Columbus Foundation. The award from United Way allows us to complete that project and further enhance our lovely park.

The funds will also be used to resurrect our news letter. Everyone liked it because we focused on practical information for home maitenance, landscaping and the like. We look forward to the next issue.
