Two Shootings

Two People Dead

Two people are dead in two separate incidents that occurred on the weekend of July 13th. Two people were shot, one fatally near Oakwood and Fulton. Word has it that it was a dispute over money. The second killing happened in the five hundred block of Kimball. A young man was sitting in his car waiting to pick up a friend when he was shot in the heart by a drive by shooter. The police do not believe that he was the intended victim. We've greatly improved our area , but we've still have a lot to do. The long term solution is to continue to demand from the City programs that will promote homeownership. We don't need anymore crime and safetly programs. We need good neighbors.
