Director Guzman,

I am writing in follow up to an issue raised at the April 2006 meeting of the South of Main Blockwatch (SOMB).

There are stop signs at the intersection of 22nd and McAllister in the South of Main Area of the Near East side which are located on the East-West direction but not the North-South. Blockwatch members have reported motorists speeding through the intersection because of the lack of signs. This has prompted a real concern since there have been several families who have moved in all of which have small children.

SOMB would be most appreciative if you could look into making this intersection a four way stop. Your timely response would be most gracious.
