I'm concerned about the number of abandoned homes in our community with tall grass  and in general substandard condition. I think we should consider taking a running inventory of these houses and monitor them until sold. That would allow us to interact more efficiently and effectively with County staff assigned to enforce code standards and to pressure bank lien holders to keep property holdings in presentable condition until sold.
