Colonial Acres has been having really bad burglary problem lately. They have reported seeing youn black males on bikes prowling around the area and trying to break in houses. If you see any you black males riding bikes or walking through the neighborhood that look out of place or that you do not recognize, pay close attention to where they are going, what they are doing and call MPD if anything looks suspicious. Some signs to look for to tell if the person is out of place is their dress and if they are walking as a couple with a female partner for exercise. Anybody walking around by themselves with sagging pants looking thuggish is probably out of place and needs to be watched. This is coming from a young black man that lives in the area who is trying to watch out for my neighbors; so there is no racist intent in this post.
