Our Mission

The mission of the Family Readiness Group (FRG) is to prepare family members and make them READY for the time when our Nation calls on our Soldiers. When our families are ready and self sufficient, our Soldiers can focus on the mission at hand. The FRG works closely with the Command with the goal of keeping our families involved and informed.

CROPPERS FOR CAMO

We will be hosting an all day crop fundraising event on March 31 from 9 am - 11 pm. Registration is $40 and includes two meals, a goodie bag, crop t-shirt and door prizes. We will also be selling $2 raffle tickets for even more great prizes.

Registration Deadline is March 6. Register at Scrapbook Creations on E Main Street in Spartanburg. You can call them at 864-597-0036 for directions.

The event will be held at the University Readiness Center at USC Upstate, 301 N Campus Blvd.

How do we do this?

Our FRG is a non-profit corporation. We are able to sponsor our activities through donations from the community and through fundraising events that provide our yearly budget. Have you ever shipped a 40 pound box to Afghanistan? It's not cheap and contrary to what some citizens think, the military does not provide the shipping, our FRG uses our budget funds for this (unless an outside source donates the funds of course).
