I have a big complaint, and my guess is that many of you may share the same complaint. There is a home on Dinner Creek with 5 very, very, large Rottweilers. These dogs have broken my fence at least 3 times (not only mine, but my neighbors too) and actually step into my yard, leave their "deposits", bark at us through the sliding glass doors, scare the pants out of my small Jack Russell, and then break through the other side of my fence to get to my neighbor's small Chihuahua. We've had to replace our fence, and have spent well over $100 in fence repairs. I've called 911 on two occasions to get them removed, but by the time the police arrive, the dogs have broken through to another yard, and they cannot do anything if that other person hasn't complained.
What I want to know is, where is the homeowner during all of this? We've knocked on the door twice, but get no answer. This has GOT to stop! We have a young child, and frankly I am afraid to have my child play in the backyard because who knows when these 5 humongous dog will decide to start busting through more yards. Believe me, I am a dog lover, but when you have a pack of dogs breaking through fences and running through other people's yards...the red flags go off!
So, why am I writing? I think the homeowner should be reprimanded for this! I would like to be reimbursed for my expenses (repairing my fence twice), and the owner needs to find a way to keep his dogs in his yard!
