Painted Business Windows

Posted in: Ryanwood
I have a few concerns regarding some business in my neighborhood that have lots of graphic painted on their business windows. I understand that they are advertising their business, but it makes the business and the area look run down.

I would like to see the property owners who lease out these buildings be responsible for putting a marques up with the names of the buiness located in that particular area and that the leasee be required to use a specific font size for lettering or graphics on the glass windows or doors.

Also, on Brentwood Stair Road at Handley, can an island be placed in the middle of the street that keep cars from turing left when driving westbound and eastbound on Brentwood Stair at Handley? This seems to hold up traffic and causes accidents.

I want to thank whoever is responsible for tearing down the old Burger King building and that Fina station on the corner of Brentwood Stair and 820. It was an eye sour and good riddens. I hope that something positive will reside in this empty area and I don't mean another Dollar Store, Liquor Store, or another small food place. We need more commericalize business in the Eastside area.

The East Meadowbrook area is a wonderful and valuable part of Fort Worth and now that the Dallas Cowboys are moving next door to us, we deserved to have our area improved so that we can welcomed working class families back into this very old and classic neighborhood.

Thank you very much.
