Beware Neighbors,

There is a group of solicitors canvassing the neighborhood today to sell carpet cleaning services. They don’t have a Roseville solicitor’s license and arrogantly claim they don’t need one. One neighbor called the police (774-5000 + 1) who contacted four of the solicitors. Three were told to leave Roseville immediately. The fourth had an outstanding warrant and was arrested.

Another neighbor reported the free carpet cleaning offer is used to sell a Cirby Vacuum cleaner for $1900.00

Getting into your home is an effective ruse to survey your belongings to burglarize later. One of these people will probably ask to use your bathroom, which gives them the opportunity to pocket small items; jewelry, credit cards, cell phones, etc.

Apparently, there are more of the solicitors still busy ringing our doorbells this weekend. If they come to your home, demand to see their Roseville Solicitor’s License. If they don’t show you a valid license, call police at 774-5000 + 1

I just read the email. Someone came to our door today and was offering carpet cleaning at a great price. My wife told them our carpet was new. He asked if he could come in look. My wife told him no. I thought you might want to know.
