Does anyone know why we have gone so long without a Fire Chief in Wyandotte? Are our City Fathers putting Wyandotte citizens at risk?

Let somebody else be the Chief for the cash that won't pay the bills.

There needs to be a chater Change and move to a city Manager form of Government, or at the minimum a Strong Mayor format.

The community needs a FT Firechief
and its a disgrace that we do not have one.

Onother example of not launching a hire searh regionaly or even downriver to attract a qualified monoirty applicant or women for this open post.

note: Woodhaven has a Femal fie Chief, and a very good one too !

Backwards Mississippi town government circa 1963 exists right here in Wyandotte because its permiitted and allowed to exisit.

Could the fact that not only does the Fire Chief under the current system have the lowest pension of any member of the fire dept but he also has the lowest benefit package of any fire chief in the Downriver Area? This may explain a few things.
